Holy shit, Mav. This is the best test I've ever taken -- not only because it's completely accurate, but I'm actually in it. And any test with me as a result is automatically amazing. And what the fuck, you have like 70 friends, that's impressive to do something like this for all of them.

Seriously, I can't get over it. This is the coolest. We're going to have to hang out more often and see how that screws it up, haha.

You have to tell me how you made this so I can do one like it.

I echo my pet freshman here. Though some questions I really had no answer, so I just picked something... though the questions I could answer were probably pretty telltale...

still, COOLEST QUIZ EVER!

so, ummm... did you get you?
[User Picture]From: yannaboo Date: January 27th, 2003 - 10:51 am (Link)
yes, yes I did :-) and I also think we should hang out more. I can go to Silky's now!

Oh, btw... you didn't have to answer everything. The test works fine if you leave some blank.

Oh, that's right, you had a birthday or something. Honestly, you could have gone to Silky's at anytime you wanted to. Even if you didn't want to drink. The red line between "bar" and "restaurant that happens to serve alcohol" there is really thin.

In any case, I'm there every friday from around 5 or so til around 7 or so. (well, lately, I've been showing up at 5:30, but whatever).

neat.... this Friday is KGB slave auction night, at 7:20 PM.

and I think it's funny that changing one answer on how I took the quiz makes me Adam. I am the female Adam! Mwahahaha!

it was a random idea we had sunday afternoon and so we wrote it. The guiz engine is technically expandable, so we could write other quizzes, but there is no interface for doing so. We have to type the questions out in a configuration file (actually a couple config files) and "feed" them to the program. Writing the config files took hours.

I can't garauntee that its possible to get everyone on my friends list, but you probably can someway or another. The way its set up, we don't so much choose what will happen as we do seed the answers with people and just let whatever happens happen.

Cool that it works out for you though.

The little head icon is supposed to link to the userinfo page, not to the user's journal which is linked to by their name.

wow. I never noticed that before. We'll have to fix that later... (not that it matters all that much, I guess)
[User Picture]From: mizmoose Date: January 27th, 2003 - 06:17 am (Link)
Who the fuck is Wooble and why woudl I want to be them?

I probably got something messed up, given that my past with you is, er, um, different than most.
[User Picture]From: chrismaverick Date: January 27th, 2003 - 06:39 am (Link)

Uh Mav...

Both Joe and I came up as being Regina. Granted Joe isn't on lj, but it's still rather... interesting. :)

Re: Uh Mav...

hahaha. quit trying to impersonate me, you two!

you didn't even do a very good job though, cuz then you'd have been steph..
[User Picture]From: nowishere Date: January 27th, 2003 - 10:28 am (Link)

Re: Uh Mav...

i, on the other hand, did a passable impersonation of mathilde:

[User Picture]From: nowishere Date: January 27th, 2003 - 10:36 am (Link)

Re: Uh Mav...

and i impersonated you well too:

apparently mav and i know you better than you do

now i'm getting fascinated to find out what the things are that friends perceive in common about their friends that aren't right on. i mean.. i made some of the same predictions as mav as to what you'd pick, but then you picked something different. or maybe it's just not that scientific.. i should really be at work or something.

Re: Uh Mav...

I was actually thinking of building a personality test thingy that adjusts itself based on (self-reported) personality traits & those of people with similar answers to the bunch of random questions. It would probably be interesting to also let other people answer the questions how they think their friends would, and somehow mix those in somehow.

Or I could just play that annoying game of moral dilemmas.

Re: Uh Mav...

I think it would be more fun to just play a few rounds of "never have I ever". Less computers, more booze!

.joe.
[User Picture]From: kochansky Date: January 27th, 2003 - 11:36 am (Link)

Actually...

Mav let me in on a secret... you only have to answer two questions correctly to end up as me.

I plan to play with this when I get home. Really should be wasting time now. :}
[User Picture]From: kochansky Date: January 27th, 2003 - 11:38 am (Link)

woops

make that "should not"

can I go home yet?

The anti-Jameel and teh Bizarro-Jameel

So, I answered all the questions exactly opposite and got...

Answering the questions Bizzaro-style gets...

I had no idea that Max was the Bizarro Jameel. Well, he is pale....

Re: The anti-Jameel and teh Bizarro-Jameel

what's the difference between doing the opposite and doing bizarro style? I don't understand.
[User Picture]From: jameel Date: January 29th, 2003 - 07:24 pm (Link)
Doing the opposite means answering every question in the opposite way that I normally would. For example, answering "female" for the sex question and "Who the hell is Mav?" for when I met you. Answering Bizarro-style means that I'm answering as an imperfect duplicate of myself, and not everything is opposite. In that case, for example, I answered "male" for the sex question since an imperfect duplicate am have same sex as original.
