History: Abandoned to be raised by wolves in the intense jungles of Northern Ohio (see cleveoh) at a very young age, Chris Maverick was eventually discovered and taken in by an ancient sect of Tibetan monks. The monks took the young man as an apprentice and instructed him in their ancient arts including meditation, sword fighting, drinking, tantric sex, user interface design and lawn darts. At the age of seventeen, the monks banished Maverick for his part in a freak lawn dart incident. Searching to regain his lost honor, he was left to fend for himself, and after drifting for some time, eventually found himself enrolled at Carnegie Mellon University (see skibo) where through hard work and determination, he managed to graduate after only six and a half years (shut up!). Today, Maverick uses the skills he has learned to defend his adopted home city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (see pittsburgh) from bad design, sobriety and the forces of evil. He walks the earth, against the wind, setting right what once went wrong. A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.

Known superhuman powers: Chris Maverick possesses the uncanny ability to recall meaningless details and plots from not only every film he has ever seen but also from many that he hasn't. He is able to utilize this intuitive knowledge as a kind of cosmic awareness to predict the outcome of future events.
Mav also possesses a number of extraordinary physical abilities including a high threshold for pain, a heightened resistance to intoxication, great flexibility, unearthly sexual prowess, unnaturally long limbs and keen vision even in very low light conditions. He also has a degree of superhuman speed. He is as fast as ten fast men.
Equipment:Maverick generally carries a variety of devices on his person to aide in his eternal battle against crime. These most frequently include, but are not limited a digital camera, a cellular phone, a PDA, a collection of blades varying in length from 1 to 36 inches, various tools, an Apple Macintosh personal computer, an iPod, a USB knob and a pair of sunglasses.
Transportation: Mav drives a 1997 Chevrolet Blazer which he has designated the Vagabond Mk II. The Vagabond Mk I was destroyed by the evil minions of an organization known as Pep Boys. The Vagabonds have been modified to interface with other equipment that Maverick employs on a regular basis.
