05:26 pm - on party beer...
Jammy Jam is almost upon us. In previous years, sometimes I have gone with kegs of beer, and on other occasions I have gone with a few cases of different beers. So I'm looking for suggestions. Is it better to have a keg, with lots of beer, or do people like it better when there's a bigger variety. Also what beer do people think I should get?

Also, still looking for other party suggestions if you have them. Specifically, prizes...

And is anyone looking for crash space that I am not aware of yet? Let me know.

i think you've always had a nice selection of keg and a variety of bottled beers, so just do whatever you've always done... works for me. :-)

that's just the thing. I do something different every time. Sometimes I just have bottles, sometimes a couple kegs, sometimes some bottles and a keg. With a keg, I get more beer, with bottles I get more kinds. So I don't know what people like more.

So am I to take it that you guys are gonna be there then?

we're planning on it... we might be a bit late, and covered in sand, and stinky, but we'll be there.

honestly, i think i've always been too drunk to ever notice a lack of beer of an acceptable format and flavor.

i'm still not helping. i vote for beer.

hmmm... maybe I should just get a few bottles of grain and be done with it.

Better post a sign on your house that says "Shot girls wanted!"

so I was about to make a stupid joke about shootings in Carrick, but I'm gonna skip it because... dude... shot girls... that would be such an awesome thing to have at a party. Do you seriously think I could get some volunteers?

I'll be a shot girl :)

Another notable detail: When I was in SF Chinatown earlier in the month, I bought Jon a smoking jacket especially for the event.

is soliciting for cheap floozies on your car illegal? I mean, so long as you don't pay them, it isn't prostitution. Its just creepy, right?

technically I'd be offering to have them serve some alcohol, not necessarilly to give them some. Even still, I wonder what it would be violating. I'm not offering money for sex, so it isn't prostitution. I'm not offering alcohol to minors, so it isn't corruption. If anything its just looking like a guy saying "who wants to get drunk and get laid" totally consensual. Not illegal at all.

I don't care about b33r. The real reason I'm posting is that Jess and I have tickets. Any chance of us finding crash space somewhere? I mean, I guess we've got a rental car to sleep in, but...

between my house and Mike's and Tommy's being in a mile radius of my house, I think we can probably find someplace for you, yeah.
