Absolutely. That's what I'm learning in my own way as well. I mean there are definitely people out there who simply don't care, but they also generally don't turn that into active disregard.

I can also imagine, in our society at least, that you'll find the attitude in guys more often that girls. We often go beyond simply not teaching guys to reconize what makes them attractive into, really, discouraging it in many ways.

probably. Of course, the PC feminist thing is to teach girls that it shouldn't matter either. I, on the other hand, am anything but PC.

Yeah, that's really a shame, because it just spreads the problem instead of encouraging people to figure out what they enjoy for themselves.

yeah... I have a lot of problems with organized feminism for that reason. I sort of agree with a lot of the ideals but disagree with a lot of the conclusions reached from them. I feel the same way about a lot of political groups actually. From megaparties like the Democrats, Republicans and Libertarians down to special interest groups like GLAAD, the NRA or the NAACP. That's probably part of the reason that I hate organized politics so much.
