Memorable birthdays ...

... begin with the first you remember n'est ce pas?
I remember my third birthday for three specific events; receiving a battery powered rowing Snoopy boat, playing balloon tag on a pea green carpet (tie a balloon to your ankle, step on other people's balloons, last one with a balloon wins), and running through the sun dappled orchard behind our house.

Re: Memorable birthdays ...

so why don't you play that game at parties still today?

Fun fact, my little brother's name is Sean Thomas.

Re: Memorable birthdays ...

It's one of those games that's challenging when your little and over in a hurry when you're bigger. A good replacement is the 'tail' game, where you dangle a glove, sock or hanky in the waistband of your pants in the back and uh ... go for the old reach around on your opponents. Last one with a glove in their pants is the winner, in more ways than one. This game was popular in our fencing classes beacuse it honed footwork and reactions, not because it offered the chance at a cheap feel of the female fencers' derrierres.

Re: Memorable birthdays ...

Contact is optional -
The skilled player can remove the glove without the victim even noticing until it is being dangled in front of their noses.

The most skilled player can manage to miss the glove until his or her jollies have been fully satisfied. However crude that may be.

Re: Memorable birthdays ...

why would I not want contact... I mean, the "oops" factor seems like the whole fun part of the game.
