It's one of those games that's challenging when your little and over in a hurry when you're bigger. A good replacement is the 'tail' game, where you dangle a glove, sock or hanky in the waistband of your pants in the back and uh ... go for the old reach around on your opponents. Last one with a glove in their pants is the winner, in more ways than one. This game was popular in our fencing classes beacuse it honed footwork and reactions, not because it offered the chance at a cheap feel of the female fencers' derrierres.

Contact is optional -
The skilled player can remove the glove without the victim even noticing until it is being dangled in front of their noses.

The most skilled player can manage to miss the glove until his or her jollies have been fully satisfied. However crude that may be.

why would I not want contact... I mean, the "oops" factor seems like the whole fun part of the game.
